We offer a variety of types of membership, ranging from Full Member to Patron. The four main categories of membership are: Full, Associate, Student and Junior. A brief description of each membership type are detailed below. Contact our Membership Secretary for full details and an application form (where applicable).
To become a full member, you must successfully attend a Society audition and pay an annual subscription (currently £ 25.00). This entitles you to audition to perform in our productions. As a full member, you can attend and vote at General Meetings, social events, etc..
As an associate member, you are entitled to attend General Meetings (but cannot vote), attend Social functions, etc.. You cannot perform in any society performances. Should you wish to 'tread the boards', you will need to change to full membership. There is an annual subscription of (£ 15.00).
The Committee may in its discretion admit Student Members. As a studend member, you can take part in performances, attend General Meetings (but cannot vote). You will be required to pay an annual subscription of £ 10.00.
The Committee may in its discretion admit Junior Members. The annual subscription is £ 10.00. To qualify for junior membership status, you must be aged between 14 and 18 years old. Junior members may compete for parts in productions, and can attend General Meetings, but cannot vote.
Patrons are a very important part of our Society. We simply ask you to make a small donation (currently £10.00 minimum per annum). In return you will recieve advance booking forms for all our productions, our regular Newsletter keeping you up to date on Society events, etc..
