Jobs at Watford Operatic Society - What is there to do ?

There is a whole range of fun and interesting roles involved with staging a production at the theatre. Contrary to some beliefs, you do not need to be a fully paid up member of RADA. We do this for fun. It is a hobby, that we all take a great pride in, and get a lot of fun out of.

Apart from appearing On-stage, there are always opportunities to get involved in: the Production Team, Backstage Crew, Set Design, Lighting, Sounds, Props, and more...

We are always looking for new keen people to get involved in one way or another.

For those who prefer to avoid the limelight, eg. non-performing roles, you do not even need to have an audition to join us. So if that has put you off in the past, now is the time to join us and have some fun.

Within the Society, there are often people from 2 or more generations of the same family involved in a production, in one form or another.
